The mechanisms of political socialization: political analysis.

Abstract

In the article the primary mechanisms of political socialization that directly affect the degree of inclusion of the individual in the world of politics. Particular attention is paid to the personal aspect of the socialization process. It is noted for dominance in the scientific literature two models of political socialization: the model of "conquest", based on the concept of the famous English philosopher Thomas Hobbes, and the model of "interests" which developers were particularly Adam Smith, Herbert Spencer and others. The importance of preserving the balance between the various mechanisms of political socialization. It was concluded that currently in Ukraine there is an urgent problem of the spread of basic political knowledge, particularly among young people, and emphasizes the danger of the spread of mass manipulation technologies in Ukrainian society.
