Archiving and Long-Term Open Access Preservation Policy
The journal Bulletin of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University. Series: Political Science ensures reliable long-term preservation, availability, and uninterrupted open access to all published materials in accordance with international standards of digital archiving.
In order to preserve scholarly content, the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform is used, which supports open access and meets the requirements of modern digital archiving.
All issues of the journal are archived in the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and in the institutional repository of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University.
Articles are stored on the ICI World of Journals platform by Index Copernicus.
Articles are deposited in the institutional repositories of the universities with which the authors are affiliated.
Each published article:
- is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring the stability and long-term persistence of the link;
- is permanently and freely available on the journal’s website without time restrictions.
All publications are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution International (CC BY) license, which allows free storage, distribution, and reuse of materials provided that authorship is properly acknowledged.
The journal’s publisher allows authors to deposit the final accepted version of the article as an Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) in institutional or subject repositories with open access.
Self-archiving of the AAM is permitted without embargo, immediately after the article has been accepted for publication and in open access.
When self-archiving, the author must include the bibliographic description of the journal (the journal title and the year in which the editorial board has confirmed the planned publication of the article) and indicate that the document is an «Author’s Accepted Manuscript».
